This is my card for the Lizzie Ann Designs Sketch Challenge.
The sketch asked for a repeated focal image x 3. I used a Rose stamp from the Fiskars flower set. I die cut the images using a circle nestability, and a circle for the greeting too. I used a technique that was in the tutorial on
http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ yesterday, "cracked glass effect". I have never tried this before, and I haven't got the UTEE(Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel) but I found that the technique worked in a similar way with ordinary clear embossing powder. I used 4 layers on each image, and cracked them and applied Tea Dye distress ink to age. It's hard to see the shiny effect on the photo, but they are lovely and glassy looking, maybe more like china that glass. The greeting is from
http://www.waltzingmousestamps.com/ from the Teeny Trees set. I made the background paper with the swirls Cuttlebug embossing folder, and coloured it with green and brown inks. I did my best to match up ribbons with the ink colour. I hope that you like it!
